Dr. Prakash N. Devde is one of the most dynamic doctors in the field of Medical Oncology in India. . He has initially worked with Mahatma Gandhi Missions Medical College and Hospital and Medical Centre and Research Institute in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. He has treated around 6000 cancer patients till date which also includes 17-18 international cancer patients.He has delivered more than 60 lectures on various aspects of oncology in the inter and intradepartmental academic sessions and presented and discussed many clinical cases in clinical meetings.
He has received ”Best consultant oncologist in Maharashtra” award in national healthcare excelence awards-2016 by Praxis media group initiative. He has been invited as a faculty in over 30 national conferences and 5 international conferences till date.He has done cancer awareness programs for school children, females, bank employees etc. and given radio talks.
He has published a paper in indexed GCS journal titled “Esthesioneuroblastoma- A Case report and review of literature”in April 2013. He has done his research on role of arsenic trioxide in acute promyelocytic leukemia.He was a co-ordinator in (PrACTICE), A multi-country, multi-site, prospective, observationalstudy at GCRI. He has got certificate of Training at Good Clinical Practice(GCP) workshop. He is Co-author in “Indian consensus statement for treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer: first line, maintenance and second line’’ with author DrKumarPrabhash published in Indian journal of cancer vol 54/issue 1/Jan-March 2017.

  • His career objective is to remove stigma of cancer in the society, to remove pessimism towards cancer in the minds of general practitioners and to perform advanced research in the field of supportive oncology.
