After completing his MBBS with distinction, he underwent all his post graduation training in the NHS,UK. He successfully did MRCP (MD medicine) from Royal College of Physicians of England, London, UK. He went on to complete higher specialist oncology consultant training from Wessex, Southampton, UK. He has attended various research and training programs in oncology across UK, India, and Europe.

He has special interest in Breast, Gynaecological , Lung ,Gastrointestinal and Hepatobiliary cancers. He has presented his research work as speaker on many occasions and published his work in  international and national journals of good repute.
