Precision Radiotherapy- Stereotactic Radiosurgery (Srs)

Stereotactic Radiosurgery is the delivery of highly precise and ablative ionizing radiation to an accurately delineated target in the Brain or spine.

In SRS, there is minimal dose of radiation to the surrounding critical structures like optic chiasma, optic nerves, cochlea and brain stem, and radiation dose is delivered to the tumor in a single sitting with minimal side effects. It is the preferred treatment for brain metastases, spinal metastases, AVM, Meningioma, Acoustic neuroma, Trigeminal neuralgia, Pituitary adenomas and spinal tumors.

Stereotactic Radiosurgery is executed by complex and state-of-the-art radiation machines capable of sub-millimeter accuracy and high definition delivery under computerized image guidance systems. It also requires a team of highly trained and experienced experts in radiation therapy and neurosurgery who have specialized training in radiosurgery.

At our Cancer Therapy Center (CTC), our comprehensive radiosurgery program is run by world renowned specialists consisting of Radiation Oncologists, Neurosurgeons, Radiologists and Radiation Physicists. Over the last decade we have treated hundreds of patients successfully using SRS techniques.
